The beginning of fixing or servicing a front door latch teat involves removing the door trim and the watershield. Then, take out the three latch screws and pull apart the electrical connectors (4). Work a slim flat tool or an equivalent, between the grommet and plug to take out the cable housings, then remove the spring-loaded latch device.
