How to Remove and Replace a Piston Ring Set on 2008 Dodge Viper?

After that, get rid of the upper oil ring side rail, lower oil ring side rail and the oil ring expander from the piston. It should not be done to remove aluminum from the piston while cleaning it. In the end, wipe the ring grooves to remove any carbon buildup.
