  A: The first step is to cut off the negative battery cable, then move forward with removing the reservoir. You should then remove or unattach the fasteners that hold the coolant container for gasoline to the insides of the washer reservoir or, for diesel, the container for pressure from the inboard side. Pour the washer fluid from the reservoir (1) into a clean container so you can use it again. Take the engine compartment wire harness connector (7) off the washer pump/motor, making sure to remember the original setup of the washer hoses for later. Following that, release the front and back washer hoses (3) from the reservoir washer hoses at the top of the right front strut tower. Take out screw (2) holding the mounting tab on the back of the reservoir filler neck to bracket (4) on the right front strut tower. Raise the reservoir so that the post (5) on the bottom comes free from the hole in the right front wheel housing (6), then remove the washer reservoir out of the engine compartment.
