How to Service and Repair a Door Lock Cylinder on 2008 Jeep Liberty?

Before fixing the door lock cylinder, the first task is to take off the carrier plate. Then, put pressure inward on the door lock cylinder to remove the retaining pin for the lock cylinder (5). After that, take out the door lock cylinder (2) and the gasket (1) from the door (3).
