How to Install a Dimmer Switch for Multi-Function Use on 2008 Jeep Patriot?

In order to install the left multi-function switch, turn off the SRS by removing the battery negative cable. Put the switch where the mounting bracket will be located, reconnect the jumper wire and then screw it in place. Reconnect the instrument panel harness and refit the shrouds and reconnect the battery cable.
