How to Safely Remove and Service a Fuel Pump Module in a Front-Wheel-Drive on 2008 Jeep Patriot?

To service the fuel gauge sender and remove the fuel pump module, bleed off fuel system pressure in a well ventured area. Remove the air cleaner lid, disconnect the battery and remove the rear seat cushion. Clean the top of the fuel tank, use tool #9340 to remove the module lock ring and carefully remove the module without spilling fuel.
