How to Service and Repair a Harmonic Balancer on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

The first step for repairs of the harmonic balancer and crankshaft pulley is to remove the negative battery cable and lift the vehicle with a hoist. Then, take out the accessory drive belt after that and remove the harmonic balancer bolt too. Fit in Special Tool 8450 on the crankshaft nose and attach Special Tool 1026 to the balancer. Then, push on the puller forcing screw to get the balancer off the crankshaft. Once done, take out the crankshaft harmonic balancer.
