How to Service and Repair a Rear Seat Cushion on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

Make sure to look over the cautions and warnings for restraints before you service or repair the rear seat cushion. First, take out the rear seat. Separate the seat back from the two-door seat by unfastening the seat back frame to seat cushion assembly bolts, removing the J-straps and taking out the seat cover and cushion. After that, remove the hog rings to take the cushion apart from the cover. If your vehicle is a four-door, open the rear seats and remove the bolts connecting the cushion to the back. Remove the J-straps to break the assembly apart from the frame, then unhook the hog rings to remove the cover from the cushion.
