To install the new axle shaft seal, use Installer 9223 and lubricate the inside diameter with Mopar(R) Gear and Axle Lubricant 75W-140. Install the halfshaft(s), then check and adjust the rear axle fluid level, topping off with the same lubricant and reinstalling the fill plug, torqued to 60 Nm (44 ft. lbs.).
