How to Properly Install a Rear Shock Absorber on 2009 Chrysler Aspen?

Put the rear shock absorber into place, make sure it is aligned in the brackets and use the bolts to connect it from the brackets to the shock. Tighten the top bolt first with the flag nut and the lower bolt with a nut. Screw the nuts and bolts both up to 102 N.m (75 ft. lbs.). If you dropped the spare tire for the left shock, now lift it back up into its position. After that, pull out the jack, then let the vehicle gently come down.
