- Q: How to Install the Weather Strip on Quarter Glass on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?A: The first step in installing Quarter Glass weather strip is to set up your new rail seals and retainer assemblies. Match the position of the canopy holes with the rear seal and retainer 2 on the back of the plane and seal these with four blind rivets on each side. Put front seals 1 over the marks from the tape on the side glass and place the correct amount of shims. Prop the seals in place using screws and torque them until you reach 5.5 Nm, then take off the side glass tape.
