How to Detach a Sun Visor on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

The first step is to release the sun visor from its retainer on the sun visor. Once you've removed all the glass, remove the screw from the sun visor retainer and take the retainer out of the windshield surround or roof panel. After that, take out the sun visor screws that hold it to the windshield surround or the roof panel, depending on what's used in your vehicle. Where needed, take out the wire harness connector before taking off the sun visor. When you replace the sun visor, check that it comes with a five-bullet point, colored coded, air bag warning label.
