How to Service the Secondary Thermostat on a 2.0/2.4L Engine on 2009 Chrysler Sebring?

The first step in servicing the secondary thermostat on a 2.0/2.4L engine is to drain some Few Liters of coolant from the radiator when the car is cold. After that, take out the air filter housing and disconnect the coolant hoses from where they connect to the rear of the coolant adapter. Take out the radiator hose after that and then the front radiator hose from the coolant adapter. Thereafter, remove the bolts that connect the coolant adapter and carefully pull the coolant adapter from the water pump inlet tube with the secondary thermostat.
