How to Replace a Water Pump in a Gas Engine on 2009 Chrysler Sebring?

Before fitting the water pump onto a gas engine, remove all old residue from the gasket surfaces and check the water pump and its parts for damage. Put the water pump and the gasket onto the water pump adapter by using bolts 3 and tighten them to 22 N-m (16 lbs. ft.). After that, join the water pump pulley onto the water pump by bolting it in place with bolt 1, tightening it to 9 N-m (80 lbs. in.). After that, place the water pump assembly and gasket over the engine with bolts 5 and fasten them to 24 N-m (18 lbs. ft.). Run the engine and then inspect all the areas for leaks.
