In order to remove the exhaust manifold, first remove the engine cover and disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the upper heat shield and the exhaust pipe and oxygen sensor. Then, remove the manifold support bracket, lower heat shield and finally, manifold retaining fasteners and gasket.
