How to Service and Repair a Front Seat Cover on 2009 Dodge Challenger?

Begin your service or repair of the front seat cover by reading all the cautions and warnings. Uninstall the front seat and remove the lumbar and recliner handles afterward. Then, take out the screws that hold the side shields in place and after that remove the belt buckle. Untwist the bolts that attach the back of the seat on each side and lift on the buttons at the top of each headrest to pull the headrest up and remove it. Pull the j-straps apart and raise the cover so you can see the headrest guides. Cut the hog rings and throw them away. With pliers or any suitable instrument, grasp the inside guide ribs of each headrest and hit the sleeve from beneath using a rubber mallet. Take off the seat cover from the back of the seat last.
