How to Service and Repair a Floor Mount Shift Cable on 2009 Dodge Charger?

In order to fix the floor mount shift cable, park the car and lift it. Disconnect the gearshift cable to the transmission and take the mounting bracket. Open the shift mechanism, when necessary, by taking off the console in the floor. Lastly, take out the gearshift cable of the vehicle.
