2009 Dodge Durango Seat Heater Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install Seat Heater Elements in the Second Row on 2009 Dodge Durango?
A: Begin by pulling back the adhesive backing on the heater element and place it in the same spot on the seat as the old element, being sure not to bend or when handling it. Join the heated seat cushion's electrical connector and fix the harness routing clip on the bottom of the rear center console bracket which is located under the floor. Then, put in the rear center console, tie off the negative battery cable and make sure the heated rear seats are functioning well. Install the cushion cover last, placing the seat wire harness in the seat and seat back and make sure the extra wire is hidden between the back of the cushion foam and the trim cover's rear carpet flap when you are done. For the heated second row seat back element, pull off the adhesive from the new element and put it back in the factory position, attaching the connector (3) and the routing clip. With everything sorted out, place the back trim cover (1) correctly on the seat and make sure the extra wire is not in the way.
