How to Properly Install a Front Crankshaft Seal on 2009 Dodge Nitro?

Before installing the front crankshaft seal, the damper bore and crankshaft nose must be efficiently cleaned to preserve the crankshaft, damper and Special Tool 8512A. For the front crankshaft seal, follow the guide of Seal Installer 8348 and Damper Installer 8512A. Then, you should install the vibration damper, after which you should put in the radiator cooling fan and shroud. Afterward, connect the upper radiator hose and the A/C compressor and tighten each screw or bolt to 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). Now, add the accessory drive belt and put more coolant into the system. The last step is to attach the negative cable to the battery.
