How to Replace a Headlight Bulb on 2009 Dodge Nitro?

Before servicing the headlamp bulb, first disconnect the car's battery negative cable. After that, pull the wire harness connector 4 out of the connector receptacle in the front lamp unit housing 3 on the back of the module. Hold on to the bulb base, turn it to the left about 30 degrees to unlock it and pull both the bulb and base straight from the keyed hole in the reflector. Do not allow oily surfaces or even your fingers anywhere near the inside of the bulb glass, as this can lower its lifespan.
