How to Locate and Remove the Vapor Canister on 2009 Dodge Nitro?

The EVAP canister is found underneath the vehicle behind the splash shield of the left/rear tire. Raise the vehicle, clean the canister vacuum lines and disconnect the electrical connector and rubber hose of the ESIM switch. Remove the quick-connect fitting and the mounting bracket nut/bolt and pull the canister forward.
