Take care not to bend or crease the heating unit during the installation process, because it can fail sooner. Some model vehicles have both heated and vented seats in front and in these, the vented seat pad should go under the cushion before you install the seat. Before sticking the replacement heater element 2 down, take off the old adhesive backing and then stick the new element to the foam exactly where the old one was, guiding the position with the marked spots on the foam. After that, attach the two electrical connectors 3 and 4 found on the new heater element, routing the wire harness properly through the seat and seat back and making sure the excess wires are tucked between the rear of the cushion foam and the back carpet flap of the trim cover. Afterward, connect the other end of the negative battery cable, make sure both sides are working and then put on the given instructional cushion.
