How to Install a Heater Core into the HVAC Housing on 2009 Dodge Ram 2500?

Insert the heater core (3) at the front of the HVAC assembly and slide the heater core tube bracket (2) onto the HVAC unit. Attach the heater core bracket to the HVAC housing using the two screws (1) and tighten them to 1.1 Nm (10 in. lbs.). For vehicles with dual zone heating-A/C, add the linkage rod, then fit the foam seal to the heater core tubes. When changing the heater core, flush out the cooling system first. The last step is to install the HVAC housing.
