To Replace The Water Pump On A 5.7 Engine Disconnect the negative battery cable and drain coolant. Remove the accessory drive belt, radiator fan, coolant recovery container and washer bottle. Then, get out the A/C compressor, generator brace and tensioner. Finally, remove the hoses and the water pump bolts.
