How to Replace the Water Pump on a 5.7L Engine on 2008 Dodge Ram 2500?

Before you begin, take out the negative battery cable and empty the coolant from the system. After that, take out the accessory drive belt, then remove the radiator fan and the coolant recovery container. Cut the electrical wires between the washer bottle and the vehicle, plus the washer hose. After that, detach the fan shroud assembly. Take the A/C compressor and generator brace out and then address the accessory drive belt tensioner. Afterward, remove both the upper and lower radiator hoses as well as the heater hoses. After that, loosen and remove the bolts fastening the water pump, then get the pump out of the engine.
