How to Maintain the Thermostat on a 5.7L Engine on 2009 Dodge Ram 3500?

Before carrying out work on the engine coolant thermostat, first remove the negative battery cable. After that, empty all the liquid from the cooling system. Then, you will need to get rid of the radiator hose clamp and radiator hose from the thermostat housing. Then remove the bolts that mount the housing, remove the housing next and finally set the thermostat aside.
