How to Install a Trunk Lid Latch on 2009 Dodge Viper?

Attach the latch to the car and temporary bolt it to decklid 3. Place the latch of the decklid on the marks you already made on the body outline. Slowly tighten the latches so the bolts have a torque of 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.). Afterward, mount the lock cylinder bracket 1 and tighten it with three screws 2. Also, check if the decklid is properly working and adjusted as required.
