How to Install a Trunk Lid Latch on 2008 Dodge Viper?

The trunk/liftgate latch is to be installed by placing it and loosely fitting it with bolts into the decklid. Position the latch with the marks and screw the bolts up to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.). Insert the lock cylinder bracket using 3 screws and test the operation and alignment of the decklid, correcting the position as necessary.
