How to Remove an Exhaust Manifold on 2009 Jeep Compass?

To remove the exhaust manifold, remove the engine cover and disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the upper bolts of the heat shield, exhaust pipe and the manifold support bracket. Then, disconnect the oxygen sensor and remove the retaining fasteners and remove the manifold gasket.
