How to Safely Install an Instrument Cluster to Ensure Proper Functionality on 2009 Jeep Compass?

To install the instrument cluster, disable the SRS by disconnecting the battery negative cable. Reconnect the wire harness, align the cluster with mounting holes and secure with 4 screws. Reinstall the top cover and reconnect the battery and if necessary reset the cluster by waiting five minutes before reconnecting the battery.
