How to Service and Repair a Vapor Canister on 2009 Jeep Compass?

To service the Evaporative Emission Control Canister, disconnect the negative battery cable, raise the vehicle and remove the vapor hose from the canister and ESIM module. Then, disconnect the electrical connector from the ESIM module and extract (the two mounting bolts) to extract the assembly.
