How to Service the Cigarette Lighter Power Outlet on 2009 Jeep Liberty?

The first step to servicing a car AC outlet is to first disconnect and separate its battery negative cable. Open the console and loosen and remove the two screws. Release the fasteners on all edges of the floor console trim panel using a trim stick C-4755 or similar. Bring the panel upwards and then backwards to unhook it from the floor console. First, disconnect the wires from the panel and after that, pull the AC outlet out of the trim panel.
