How to remove an A/C accumulator on 2009 Jeep Patriot?

In order to disassemble the accumulator, disconnect the negative battery cable and reclaim refrigerant. Lift the car, take off the right front wheel and take off the splash shield. Disconnect lower and upper A/C suction lines, disassemble the accumulator out of the bracket and close the refrigerant line fittings and accumulator ports.
