How to Maintain and Fix a Mirror Switch on 2009 Jeep Patriot?

In order to fix the power mirror switch, disconnect the negative battery cable first. Next, unbolster the front door and unconnect the electrical harness connectors. Removal of the mirror switch can be done by popping the switch tabs on the bolster through the front cover.
