How to Service and Repair a Speed Sensor on the Front Wheel on 2009 Jeep Patriot?

When fixing or repairing the front wheel speed sensor, disconnect the cable connector of the sensor from the frame rail's wire harness connector right above the strut tower. Hold up the vehicle, take out the hole cover and then pull the sensor cable from the opening inside. After that, take away the speed sensor cable routing clip outside and the screw fastening the clamp on the same rail. After removing the wheel speed sensor routing bracket, remove the fixing screw on the wheel speed sensor to the knuckle and take the sensor out. Whenever possible, safeguard the sensor by rotating the routing clip counterclockwise and removing the cable from the vehicle.
