How to Detach a Car Mirror from the Interior on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?

Place the set screw 3 inside the socket next to it and turn it counterclockwise to allow the installer to lift the rearview mirror 2 straight up and out from the button/support bracket 1. Then, move the rear view mirror up until it no longer connects to the support bracket/button.
