Q: How to Remove and Replace Exhaust Valve and Intake Valves on 2009 Jeep Wrangler?
A: To take out and replace the intake and exhaust valves, be sure the cylinder head is out first and then compress the valve springs with Valve Spring Compressor C-3422-D and adapter 8464. Then take away the valve retaining locks and slowly lower the valve spring compressor. Later on, you should remove the valve spring retainer, valve spring and valve stem seal. Before taking the valves out, remove any sharp ridges from the valve stem lock grooves to prevent hurting the valve guides and make certain the valves go into their original places.
