2010 Chrysler Town & Country Fuel Injector Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install Fuel Injectors for 3.3L and 3.8L Engines on 2010 Chrysler Town & Country?
A: Before installing the fuel injectors on the 3.3 and 3.8L engines, look at all the O-ring seals and change any that appear worn or damaged. Give every O-ring a small covering of clean engine oil. Should some fuel injectors be replaced, use the notations from the removal process to return the old injectors to their homes in the engine. Attach each fuel injector onto the fuel rail, ensuring you tighten the retaining clips and the injectors are fitted well. Dab a very light layer of clean engine oil onto the O-ring on each injector nozzle, then insert and properly set each nozzle in its opening in the lower intake manifold. After you've installed the fuel rail bolts, tighten them at 12 Nm (106 in. lbs.). Make sure the electrical connectors from the harness fit correctly to each fuel injector. Make sure the intake manifold is in place and that the quick connector of the fuel line is properly attached. This will prevent fuel from leaking which might ignite if it falls on a hot engine. Link the quick connect fuel line to the fuel rail, fasten the clean air hose to the throttle body and clamp the negative battery cable, turning the nut until it reaches 5 Nm (45 in. lbs.). Make sure to check the fuel system for leaks with the assistance of scan tool ASD Fuel System Test.
