Installation of the hood hinge is to place it and install the nuts loosely with reference marks. Clamp the nuts to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) and apply bolts to hold the hinge together and tighten them to 9 Nm (80 in. lbs.). Make sure that striker and latch are in position and then close the hood.
