How to Service Trunk Lid Lift Support Shocks on 2010 Chrysler Town & Country?

To service the liftgate shock support, first support the liftgate in the open position. Disengage the retainer securing the support cylinder to the pivot on the liftgate and disconnect it. If necessary, remove the pivot. Repeat this for the support cylinder connected to the D-pillar.
