During installation of the replacement heating element, one should not bend it to avoid failure. Take off the adhesive backing and attach it to the foam pad. Install electrical connectors, reinstall the battery and check the heated seat system. Attach the trim cover, and use correct routing of wires, and dispose of old heater element.
