How to Remove a Seat Heater Pad on 2009 Dodge Avenger?

To disconnect the heater pad, disconnect the battery negative cable, and then remove the seat cushion or back trim cover. Disconnect the electrical connectors for the heated seat element, and gently peel the heater element free of the foam pad along the lines of the adhesive, without removing too much of the foam.
