  A: Place the generator first and make sure the battery terminal is right in front of where the A/C line connects. Fasten the upper mounting bolt to GAS 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.), then screw on and tighten the B+ terminal nut and wire to 10 Nm (88.5 in. lbs.). Attach the field circuit wires to the generator and put in the lower mounting bolt, setting the torque to GAS 54 Nm (40 ft. lbs.). After that, attach the A/C compressor, then install the accessory drive idler pulley and tighten its bolt to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.). Place the serpentine belt behind the engine and install the accessory drive splash shield and the underbody air dam. After the right front wheel is in place, recharge the A/C, join the negative cable to the battery and connect the air cleaner fresh air duct on top, fastening it with the two retaining clips.
