2010 Dodge Caliber Fog Light Bulb Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Properly Install a Fog Light Bulb on 2010 Dodge Caliber?
A: Use only the right sized and type of fog lamp bulb to avoid damaging the lamp, socket or the car's wiring. Keep fingers away from the lamp bulb and do not let it touch anything greasy so it can last longer. First, get to the fog lamp bulb through the space behind the front of the car, then match the two tabs on the bulb with the slots in the bulb fixture on the fog lamp housing. Hold the bulb so that the index tabs sit into the slots and then press the bulb straight into the configuration until you hear each bulb latch snap. Connect the end of the engine compartment wire harness back to the connector receptacle of the fog lamp bulb. Lay the front wheel house splash shield in front of the fascia closure panel and fasten it using two push pins. Align the push pin fastener with the hole in the inboard side of the splash shield and fit it into the metal of the front end. Place the three screws through the holes in the front fascia and the splash shield's outboard side, then tighten them to a torque of 2 Nm (19 in. lbs.). Put the front wheel and tire back on, drop the vehicle down and link up the negative battery cable.
