Q: How to Install a Lock on the Glove Box on Chrysler 300?
A:
Before installing the glove compartment lock, be sure that every tumbler gets set in its proper place inside the lock cylinder. If you've taken apart the springs and tumblers, insert them back into the glove box lock cylinder in the same sequence. Then, install the unit by inserting it as a single unit into the latch of the glove box until it locks. Turn the ignition key a few times counterclockwise so that the lock cylinder remains fixed in the glove box latch. Place the glove box latch onto the glove box door at the last step.
