How to Remove and Install a Camshaft Position Sensor in the Timing Belt Housing Cover on Chrysler 300M?

It is found in the timing belt housing cover just above the left camshaft sprocket. Before taking off the intake plenum, disconnect the negative battery cable. After that, remove the electrical cable from the sensor, take out the screw in the camshaft position sensor and pull it out of the cover for the timing belt. Remember, for a reused sensor, take away the old spacer first, attach a New Spacer and then install the sensor. Each sensor should have a paper spacer attached to its face before installation. Slide the sensor into the part where the timing belt goes, until it is touching the camshaft sprocket and firmly hold it as you tighten the retaining bolt to its torque rating. Put the electrical connector back onto the sensor, put the upper intake plenum together and then reattach the negative battery cable.
