Chrysler 300M Dimmer Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q:
How to Service and Repair a Dimmer Switch in a Combination Switch on Chrysler 300M?
    A:
To work on the combination switch, first lift the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the remote battery post from the cable remote. Then, take out the tilt lever and both steering column shrouds. Afterward, remove the multi-function switch mounting screws and connectors. After placing the multi-function switch in its fixed position, fasten the connectors with the screws and tighten the retaining screws to 17 in. lbs. (2 N.m) torque. After that, set up the upper and lower shroud rims on the steering column and finally the tilt lever. Last, attach the negative Battery Cable remote terminal back to the remote battery post.
