  Before replacing the fuel filler neck, remove the negative battery cable and drain the fuel out. Loosen the three fasteners keeping the filler neck linked to the quarter panel and carefully hoist the vehicle. Relax the tightness at the filler neck and to remove the filler neck. During installation, join the top of the filler neck to the filler hose and tighten the clamp on each piece. Drop the vehicle and put back in the three screws to fasten the filler neck to the quarter panel. After fueling, make sure there aren't any leaks before reconnecting the negative battery cable.

  Before servicing or repairing the fuel filler neck, first remove the negative battery cable and drain the fuel out of the tank. Loosen the three screws that attach the filler neck to the quarter panel and support the vehicle on a hoist after lifting it off of the ground. Loose the clamps from the filler neck and then remove the neck. Attach the filler neck securely to the filler hose and then tighten the clamps. Lift the vehicle a little and install the three screws to seal the filler neck firmly onto the quarter panel. After filling the tank, check everywhere for leaks before attaching the negative cable to the battery.
