For the 4.7L V-8 throttle cable installation, put the plastic mount onto the throttle body until there is a perfect spot for the tab 3. Pull the accelerator cable across the rails of the cable cam and join it to the bellcrank pin at the throttle body, making the connector fit on the rear side. Slide the rubber grommet out of the plastic cable housing and set it into the dash panel until it fits. Slide the rubber grommet and the housing containing the cable up through the opening in the dash. While you are inside the car, clip 2 to fix the cable to the dashboard. Place the wire from the throttle cable core into opening at the top of the pedal arm and push in clip 7 into the pedal arm opening 6 until it locks in place. Fit the cable into its routing clip in the dash and then install the air resonator tube around the throttle body. Before turning on the engine, move the accelerator pedal to see if it binds anywhere.
