  Take out the throttle cable from the throttle lever under the hood as the initial step. Roll the tabs down on the cable and slide it out of the bracket. In the vehicle, press on the retainer behind the top of the pedal shaft and push it toward the back, squishing the doublet together on the dash side when needed. Grab the top of the cable and bring it through the hole in the pedal shaft before removing the clip at the grommet in the front of the dash. Pull the throttle cable and its grommet out of the dash panel through the engine compartment. Start the installation by pushing the cable end fitting and grommet into the dash panel from under the engine compartment and clip on the throttle cable. At the throttle body, attach the cable housing to the engine's cable mount and then put the cable into the top slot of the pedal shaft. While the top of the pedal lever is pushed down, slide the retainer clip toward the front of the vehicle to engage it into the pedal lever. Pull the throttle lever all the way forward in the engine compartment, then put the clip of the cable in place.
